Alycia McCullough, Comprehensive
Pageant Coach
Alycia
McCullough has
had great success as a pageant contestant and
pageant coach. Alycia’s success in the Miss America
system includes placing as first runner-up in both
the Miss Pennsylvania (2006) and Miss Illinois
(2008) Pageants and winning numerous local awards
for talent, interview, and fitness. In 2008, Alycia
was the Preliminary Swimsuit Award Winner at Miss
Illinois. During her first competition in the Miss
USA Pageant system, Alycia finished in the Top
Five. Since 2007, Alycia has coached several Miss,
Teen, and Little Miss contestants to winning their
first local titles. Many of her clients have
received awards at the state level including:
Preliminary Swimsuit Award, Non-Finalist Interview
Award, Community Service Award, and Top Five and Top
Ten placements.
Alycia
received her Master of Science degree in College
Student Personnel and is currently the Assistant
Director for Career Services at Allegheny College,
where she teaches skills including writing
professional documents, personal presentation,
interviewing and networking. She also serves as the
Leadership Coordinator and as a member of the
College’s Wellness Committee. Alycia is a dance
instructor and choreographer at Allegro Dance Arts
where, in addition to teaching upper-level classes,
she choreographs solos for competitive dancers. This
combination of skills allows Alycia to assist in
developing every aspect of pageant competition
within the individual. This comprehensive approach
leads to greater success in every phase of
competition.
